DOCS - Doctors of Compassion is a family run small animal Hospital located in Carson City, Nevada. Since 2004 this hospital has been owned by Dr. David Haebler and Dr. Jeanine Chaney-Haebler, both Ross Veterinary School graduates from 1996 and 1998. We are located 30 minutes from stunning Lake Tahoe with world class ski resorts and superb outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, or whatever your heart desires.  Our hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 7:30-5:30pm and Friday from 7:30-5:00pm.  We perform many types of soft tissue surgeries including routine elective procedures, mass removals, CCL repairs, and eye surgeries. We also perform major & minor dental procedures, including major extractions and bonding/sealing. We have digital CR radiology with the capability of specialist review, and digital dental radiology. We handle  emergencies as our schedule allows, but also have two 24 hour emergency referral practices available in the area. We have an ultrasound available with a color flow doppler, and the ability to send images for specialist review. We have boarded surgeons, internal medicine specialists, and boarded dentists available for referral when needed. We very much still enjoying doing routine care with our  patients and enjoy the client relationships we have developed over 18 years We believe in the gold standard of care in which the patient comes first.  We strive to ensure each pet is cared for in the manner they deserve and feel that staff should be cared for the same.
