DOCS – Doctors of Compassion is a family-run small animal hospital located in Carson City, Nevada. Founded in 2004 by Dr. David Haebler and Dr. Jeanine Chaney-Haebler, both graduates of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (1996 and 1998), have been providing compassionate care to pets for over two decades.

Located just 30 minutes from the breathtaking Lake Tahoe, our area offers world-class ski resorts and a wealth of outdoor activities like boating, hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, and snowshoeing – perfect for those who enjoy a balanced lifestyle.

Our hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends, no major holidays, and no overnights! We offer a variety of services, including soft tissue surgeries, dental procedures, routine care, and emergency care as our schedule allows. We are equipped with digital CR radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound with color flow Doppler, and offer specialist consultations when needed.
