Katie, Office Manager and Veterinary Technician in Training
Born and raised in Carson City, Nevada, Katie has always had a passion for animal care and community service. Her journey began in FFA, where she competed at the state level in veterinary medicine and served as a Nevada FFA State Officer in 2017. During that time, she also earned her EMT certification, expanding her ability to help both people and animals. In 2019 she joined the team at DOCs, where she developed her clinical skills and grew into a leadership role. Her love for wildlife led her to spend a year working in a rehabilitation setting, gaining hands-on experience in caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. In 2023, she obtained her Veterinary Technician-in-Training license, and in 2024, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation at Unity Environmental University. Outside the hospital, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their four beloved dogs: a Newfoundland, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, and a Pit Bull.

She is a proud mother of three grown children and currently shares her home with two dogs and a cat.Whether she’s supporting a pet parent at the front desk or leading the CSR team with warmth and professionalism, Kim is guided by her deep commitment to people, pets, and service.
Razzle Dazzle (Razz), Hospital Supervisor and Morale Booster
Razzle Dazzle is the doctors beloved golden retriever and the unofficial queen of the hospital. While she prefers the peace and quiet behind the baby gate, her presence brings warmth and smiles to the entire team. Her daily routine includes plenty of naps, banana breaks, and eagerly awaiting her favorite visitor—the delivery driver, who never forgets her treat. Though she’s not always visible to clients, Razz plays an important role in keeping spirits high and the workday cozy.
With a heart as golden as her fur, Razz reminds us all to take life a little slower, savor the small joys, and never say no to a snack.
